As an avid viewer of YouTube videos, I have been hearing about BaubleBar for a while. I'm not a massive jewelry wearer, but I do love statement necklaces and BaubleBar is the place to go for those types of things. It is a bit more expensive than the average jewelry retailers that I'm used to.(i.e Forever 21 and Charming Charlie).
Each piece comes packaged in it's own little suede dustbag. So luxurious. It reminds me of when you purchase a designer handbag or pair of shoes. LOVE this little touch.
Enough with the blabbing. Time to show you what I bought.
This necklace is ridiculously sparkly in person. Photos do not do this justice. I am probably going to pair this with a lot of all black outfits for work. So classy and elegant.
This one is a bit more subdued than the previous, in my opinion. It is a little bit more "everyday" for me. I can see myself pairing this with a simple sundress or white t-shirt.
All in all, these are fantastic quality. I do wish the price was not as high on some items (namely, the monogram necklaces which I'm lusting over), but you get what you pay for.
One thing that I will point out about BaubleBar is something that was not explained very clearly to me in the beginning. The website has a feature known as "Vault Points" (similar to Sephora's point system). I was under the impression when I first signed up for the site, that for every dollar you spend, you get one vault point to put towards a future purchase. This is not the case. for every TEN dollars you spend, you get ONE dollar towards your future purchases. For example, after the order that placed, I spent $86. I then received 86 points, which made me think "oh cool, I can get a few more items for basically free!" No. When I went into the checkout page, it said: 86 points=$8. I was really confused about this. I don't think the site is all that clear about this program and it doesn't seem like a real perk to me like the Sephora point system does (with the ability to exchange points for free products).
All in all, I do recommend this site if you are in the market for some nicer jewelry. They have a variety of styles and price ranges so it is a fun site to just explore.
Let me know if you've purchased anything from BaubleBar in the comments.
